When I’m looking to switch things up from chocolate chip cookies, but
stay with an age-old favorite, I always turn to oatmeal raisin. Growing up we were a big
chocolate chip family, seemingly always having a fresh batch in the kitchen.
This weekend however, I decided to try this recipe. I doubled the cinnamon and added a smidge more vanilla, since you can never have enough of either in my opinion. They were the perfect, chewy treat and made the house smell wonderful.
i was milling around yesterday with an extreme urge to bake, so i whipped up some oatmeal choc chip cookies! it was almost too hot to use the oven, but i was going stir crazy since it was 499 degrees outside.
i love the idea of more cinnamon and vanilla. i’ll have to give this recipe a try.
I llllovove oatmeal chocolate chop cookies (almost as much as I love no-bakes) these look great I may have to bake some!

Yum! My mom always bakes chocolate chip & oatmeal raisin, with a side of just the cc dough (sans chocolate chips) cookies for me … growing up I hated chocolate!
