This weekend comes on the tails of a traveling week that let me spend some (brief) time in Greenville and Charlotte. Driving down the Queen City’s wide streets with large, overhanging trees had me homesick for one of my favorite southern cities. If you’ve ever been in Charlotte you know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s a big city with a small city feel.
Tomorrow is the UGA vs. LSU game in Athens and with ESPN Gameday there it feels like Christmas Eve. I’m heading up with a big group of friends to cheer on the dawgs and hoping to come home with a victory. Football in the fall is one of my favorite times and there’s just no place like Athens.

[This is the first flavor that I’ve tried, but it’s really good. Next up to try, the chocolate peanut butter swirl. It does have a hint of coconut to it, but it’s not overwhelming.]
[These EllaB candles amazing to say the least. Charlotte ladies- there’s one for each neighborhood in CLT and they last 60+ hours. My favorites: Dilworth and Queen City. They’re stocked at Cottage Chic off of East Blvd.]

Fun stuff! We are headed to Charlotte this afternoon for a wedding tomorrow. My fiance, Ben, grew up in Charlotte. I’ll have to make him stop by these places. 🙂 I’m sure he’ll love it. ha!

Dunkin donuts iced coffee is my favorite so I definitely need to try the iced pumpkin! And totally agree there is no place like a college town on a gameday in the fall! My hokies won last night so wishing you luck this weekend!
I’ve tried the So Delicious Chocolate PB Swirl and it’s so good! I only wish it was less fat and calories than regular ice cream, because it’s about the same! Is that top you have on in the pic from Madewell? If so, I just bought it and love it!! I love visiting Charlotte. Every time I do I always question why I never moved there! Have a fun weekend at the game!

I need to try dunkin donuts iced pumpkin coffee, that sounds perfect right now! As does that coconut ice-cream…obviously I’m a bit hungry.
Everyone is talking about dunkin donuts coffee. Is this an east coast thing? Loving that sweatshirt, wish I was wearing that with some coffee and opposed to sitting at my desk right now!
