Phew, what a week for weather in the midwest. I’m desperate for some sunshine, blue skies and happy hours on outdoor patios. Thursday early morning and evening were both spent in our building’s basement hiding out from tornados. If you know me, you know that I don’t handle storms well (as in: terrified, shaking). This weekend I’m headed back to Atlanta and gearing up for a busy upcoming work week. Until then, I’ll be focusing on enjoying the simple luxuries like breakfast in bed and having a girl’s night in with best friends.

ugh. tornados totally freak me out too! i was in when i was little and it’s CRAZY how much damage they can do!

I can’t even imagine what it would be like to be even close to having a tornado. They are super scary. Even the loss of life and house after some is so sad.
