Life has been happening in warp speed lately. It feels like it was just Thanksgiving and Christmas and now we’re halfway through January. Since there are so many fun events coming up I’m giddy with anticipation and excited for celebrations, parties, sunshine and warmer weather in the coming months. For now, let’s backtrack and see what’s been going on.

Rainy Day Style[ Rainy day style : boots, leggings, coat, purse]

Kate Spade China[ In the beginning of registry planning I didn’t get excited about china and was going to skip it in general until I discovered this beautiful set last week. I love that it’s classic, but chic and modern all at the same time.]

Bridesmaid updo[Bridesmaid hair from a recent January wedding] Jonathan Adler Initial Pillow[A recent pillow addition that’s now packed up for another three months until the big day!] Healthy Breakfast Idea[My standard morning breakfast. Rolled oats cooked in almond milk, sweetened with cinnamon and a drizzle of honey. Topped with fresh strawberries, bananas and almonds. So good and filling!]

I ended up not getting china when I got married and really regret it! Not because I’d use it all the time but because it’s just nice to have and you’ll have it forever. Love the china you picked out! We’re in the process of redoing our bedroom and I think I might copy you and get an H pillow!

Loving the china pick- very classy and timeless. Since I’ve stepped up my working out I have been eating oats in the morning and loving how full and energized it keeps me. Also where did you get your headboard? I am in the market for a new one and love the neutral look of yours. Have a great rest of the week love!

Ooo, I love that hairstyle – so sleek and chic! I’ve come to the conclusion that time is only going to start moving faster, so no better time to do things than NOW 🙂

We selected Waterford Padova, which is pretty neutral and mixes well with family china we were gifted. I was actually surprised how many settings we received because Fine china and silver are not so common nowadays. Omg I love wedding talk!

I can’t believe we’re already halfway through January. I feel like a broken record saying it, but time is moving too fast! At least this means warmer weather will be back sooner.

Love the china set you picked!! I know it will be hard for me to find one too when the time comes, because I have similar taste to yours and everything I see isn’t quite right. This Kate Spade one is perfect though! 🙂

Your hair looks so gorgeous in the shot from a wedding! Loving the rainy day look as well. I’ve been sooo tempted to wear Hunters to work, but they’re not quite worth being sent home to change 😉

That hairstyle is gorgeous! And that is my go to breakfast as well, a bowl of warm oats on a cold winter morning is the best way to start the day!
