To me, summer screams longer days, sun kissed skin and a tasty dessert. Entertaining is one of my favorite things to do and I’m typically the first one offering to bring dessert to any get-togethers. I prefer to spend the day poolside instead of wasting hours trying to whip up the perfect dessert. Over the years I’ve learned a recipe doesn’t have to be complicated to taste good. Last week I stopped by Publix and picked up a Sara Lee® classic cheesecake and a carton of Breyers® ice-cream for a quick and easy dessert. Cheesecake isn’t the easiest thing to bake, hence why I played it safe and purchased one that was ready to go. Take a slice of cheesecake , top with a big scoop of ice-cream and you’re done! Spend more time outside enjoying the beautiful weather and less time trying to create a complicated dessert.
