Barnsley Gardens Resort

I often forget how many amazing weekend getaways are within driving distance of Atlanta. Two weekends ago a group of my blogger girlfriends and I were invited to spend the night and experience some of the magic of Barnsley Resort. A quick hour and fifteen minute drive north of the city and I felt like I was hours from the craziness of the city. This is the perfect spot for a girlfriends getaway or a romantic weekend away with your significant other.

We were welcomed with the tastiest scones and homemade butter and jam in our private cottages. That amazing tub needs to be in my house in Atlanta…

Barnsley Gardens RuinsBarnsley Gardens Resort ChristmasThe design team was kind enough to decorate a room of the ruins for us so that we could preview their holiday decor. During Christmas Eve they’ll even have set up a tree in your cottage and have Santa deliver presents for the children. Not to mention having warm baked cookies and a glass of milk for you to put by the fireplace.

S'more BarThey have fire pits with adirondack chairs all throughout the property and at night provide guests with the necessities for making s’mores. They set us up with the ultimate spread! Peanut butter + oreo crumbles + s’mores is the perfect combination.

notes:
+ Get the oxygen facial during your stay! My skin left feeling hydrated and refreshed. I didn’t even want to wear makeup after that treatment
+ The food and drinks were out of this world good. You can’t go wrong with anything you order
+ There’s a beautiful golf course or fly fishing for the gentlemen while the girls can horseback ride, spend a day at the spa or relax poolside.
+ It’s a pet friendly property! You can bet we’re bringing Oliver along on the next trip.
+ The resort has their very own Fairy Godmother. Her entire job centers around dreaming up any special event you’d like to have. From proposals, birthday dinners in the ruins or a scavenger hunt for the kids in the group, she makes it happen! #wantthatjob

Thanks to Barnsley Resort for hosting a blogger girls getaway!

xx

Thank you so much for sharing this great “Travel To” review for Barnsley Resort! We agree the Oxygen Facial from the new spa menu is fabulous, and the clawfoot tubs are perfect for a warm soak. The holidays are truly a spectacular time to visit, so we hope to see you again soon! Cheers, Shelby
