Boxwood Wreath

Happy December friends! Our Christmas decorations are slowly but surely being put up and the flocked tree we ordered turned out so good! I honestly feel like I’ve been wrapped up in college football since Sunday when UGA announced Mark Right wouldn’t be returning as head coach next year. I’m 100% that girl that gets all into college football and scours the internet looking for the latest UGA news. #raisedinthesouth On that note, we’re headed up to Charlotte this weekend for the ACC Championship and will be cheering on the Clemson Tigers while bundled up in Bank of America stadium! What do y’all have planned the next few days?

Q&A:

I’m looking for a holiday candle to burn that actually smells up the room. What’re your favorite ones?

One of my all time favorites is this Nest seasonal candle. It makes whatever room we have it in smell amazing. As a bonus, I always save the jar it’s in to re-purpose. It’s great for holding makeup brushes, pens on your desk or cotton swabs in a guest bathroom. During Black Friday my mom and I discovered these and have since been hooked. They’d make a great Christmas present for your girlfriends!

What’re your favorite drugstore buys?

I love hunting down new drugstore buys that don’t break the bank and work great! My favorite mascara (besides this one) is this L’Oreal one. That volume and impact for $6 – yes please. I’ve been using it for years and always have an extra on hand. I wash my face with Burts Bees everyone morning and love how gentle it is. Waiting for nails to try is the worst (new gel manicure fan over here!), but when I paint them myself I rely on this out the door top coat to speed things up.

Don’t forget to leave a note below or email me questions for next week!

xx

I have zero interest in football normally but all these coaches leaving their schools and signing with new schools has me very interested! Guess I like the drama haha. Have a great weekend and stay warm!

Wow! So much to comment on! First of all I have mixed feelings about Mark Richt. I am sad to see him go because he is such an incredible person, but I am tired of disappointing seasons year after year. I am excited to see what’s to come for our beloved bulldogs. Also, I cannot wait to see your tree! Lastly, I love the Thymes Christmas candle (Frasier Fir). It is the best smelling Christmas candle out there in my opinion! Have a great weekend Ashley!

Ooooh those flocked trees are so pretty, can’t wait to see how yours came out! Have fun at the game, and stay warm! As for candles, my favorite ones are Yankee Candle and Bath & Body Works 3 wick candles. Both have the most amazing holiday scents and will smell up my whole downstairs. Every other candle I’ve tried just doesn’t cut it against those two 😉

That Nest candle does smell amazing. I just bought one at TJ Maxx though, so I should probably hold off haha. My hubs got an AMAZING deal on a cashmere and wool topcoat at Macy’s. Love that Kate Spade vase too!! I hope that you have a wonderful weekend!! 🙂
