Bacon Cheddar Crackers Appetizers

Heading to a Super Bowl party this Sunday and need an easy and delicious appetizer to bring? These bacon cheddar crackers are so easy to make and you’ll look like the star bringing homemade crackers to the game. No Super Bowl party needed though — these are perfect little savory Valentine’s Day treats to make for friends or for the man in your life (bacon + cheese is always a hit with them).

I love Terrafirma’s beautiful pottery pieces (platter pictured above) and if you ever need an idea for that hard to shop for person, these pieces don’t disappoint. I get mine through Open Door Shop and they’re some of my favorite serving pieces in my kitchen!

Bacon Cheddar Crackers

ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 cup butter, cold
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
10 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup milk

directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray or line with parchment paper. In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and cayenne pepper. Then, cut in the butter until the mixture looks crumbly. Mix in the cheese and bacon.
Roll the dough into small balls and place on the backing sheet. Using either the back of a fork or a small glass, press down on each dough ball to gently flatten. Bake for 16 minutes.

Enjoy!

xx

One of my favorite parts about football is definitely the food and those would be so good! I would have so much trouble not eating the entire tray!
