Looking at this collage proves to me how drastically different my summer and winter wardrobes are. Winter neutrals are my jam. Next week Brian and I are headed out west for a few days of skiing in Mammoth Mountain. Both of us grew up skiing, but neither had been to California to hit the slopes! We’re flying into Reno and driving the 3 hours south to Mammoth for a long weekend getaway. The thought of a vacation so soon is what’s making the crazy work days worth it. Here’s what I’ll be throwing in my suitcase…
I’ve had my old Ugg’s since high school (vintage!) and finally decided to get a new pair. These mini uggs are just as comfortable and I’m digging the shorter style. Tech friendly gloves and a cute pom beanie are a must for keeping warm. I also just got this ski jacket and am obsessed. It’s fitted pretty close to the body (no Michelin Man style), is super warm and you can remove the fur from around the hood if needed. It does run small, so size up one size. A good turtleneck is always a welcome change from the layers of ski clothes. This is one of my favorites!
Cozy socks , aviators, the softest scarf ever and my Sorel’s will take me from the slopes into town for a cold beer apres ski. Basic essentials include Kiehl’s bb cream with spf 50+ (loveee this stuff) to even out my skin tone and offer some sun protection sine I’ll be outside all day. The item that’s always with me? My swear-by-it L’occitane hand cream.

I’ve had my uggs since high school too! Can’t convince myself to pull the trigger on a new pair since I hardly wear them anymore but they are definitely vintage haha. Hope you guys have a great trip!! We went to Vail, CO last year and it was such a blast!

I have a very similar winter jacket and I love it! I love the slimmer fit and snug sleeves.
