Every year as October comes around I always realize just how much I love fall. The cozy knits, cashmere scarves and boots that manage to keep you warm are always my favorite fall wardrobe pieces. I pick up a handful of new sweaters and typically splurge on one nice new pair of boots each season and majority of the above items are ones that have carried me through year after year.
I picked up this sweater (runs large, size down. I have it in an xxs) in olive before Maine and loved it so much I ordered the cream one once I got back. It’s the best longer length to pair with leggings and booties. Also eyeing this hi/low version that’s super cute. Vests are one of my favorite ways to add warmth without looking bulky. This excursion vest I’ve had for years and still reach for it time after time. My new addition for this year is this super cozy fleece version. I tried it on with a work outfit yesterday and it was the perfect addition for cooler weather. Speaking of work (or date night), my favorite fitting blazer by far is this one and it’s always packed with me when traveling.
Adding a warm scarf to any outfit is always my go-to come fall/winter. I love the bright colors in this one and it’d look so good paired with an all grey/white/neutral outfit. Bring on all the wool fedoras. They come in so many great price points like this one and in three colors that anyone cold rock.
My big splurge boots have been these suede over the knee boots and this grey version. Both I scored during Shopbop’s Family & Friends sale and have been the best purchase. Neither pair have ever given me blisters and hold up insanely well for the trekking I’ve put them through. I finally ordered a pair of the ever popular LL Bean boots (they often sell out early, so order soon if you want a pair this year!) and can’t wait to pair them with my favorite cozy socks.

I just got my first pair of LL Bean boots last March and didn’t get to wear them, so I’m super excited to finally get a chance to this fall/winter! I need to pick up some of those socks too! xx

I love that blazer – just such a classic look! LL Bean boots are adorable, and I love those socks, but I haven’t decided to pull the trigger on them yet. Think it may be next year for me!
