Master Bedroom Design / Turquoise and Teale

This entire design board just makes me happy looking at it! It was SO much fun to put together and to see what I was picturing come to life. Our master bedroom has been one of the last things on my list of spaces to tackle… along with our guest room, the office/playroom, etc…. it’s a never-ending design process! The bedroom has been slow moving, but I’m a firm believer in only buying pieces that you genuinely love. I’d rather have a space sit un-finished than fill it with temporary pieces that are purchased just to check it off the list. Wait for what you really love, it makes it that much more gratifying.

I’m always drawn to blues and love how the various shades (calming but somehow energizing at the same time?!) come together with the lamp, rug and bed. Our bedding makes me feel like I’m in a luxury hotel every night and I can’t recommend it enough. Good bedding is truly worth every cent! I purchased our eyelet duvet the second it came back in stock and it’s my favorite one I’ve ever owned. It’s folded on the end of our bed atop our pawling coverlet (the perfect weight!) and underneath are my go-to sheets. Can’t wait to share photos once the space is completed!

So pretty! Our bedroom is a similar color scheme. Something about light blue just makes me sleep better, I SWEAR! ha
