Chicken Sausage and Kale Pasta
(Banza or whole wheat)
medium yellow bell pepper
chicken or turkey sausage
low-sodium, organic chicken broth
stems removed and chopped
Fill a pot with boiling water and cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet heat the olive oil over med-high heat and sauce the bell pepper and onions until translucent
Slowly add in the sausage and garlic and cook until browned and cooked through.
Pour in the chicken broth and kale and cook for 5 minutes to let the kale soften and slightly wilt.
Add in the prepared pasta to the sausage mixture and stir to combine.
Top with fresh Parmesan and enjoy!
