… there’s a new vegetable in town and its name is Quinoa. Why its taken me this long to try a recipe that involves this “seed” is beyond me. A few months ago I decided to try a recipe I found here and have since then become obsessed. It makes quite a large portion size and I always put at least half in the freezer for a night when I’m exhausted from traveling. Tonight I topped mine with avocado, fresh cilantro and a dab of sour cream. I chopped, diced and sliced to the tunes of Frank Sinatra and this deliciously fragrant candle.
