To me, few things scream southern more than mason jars. Those simple little jars offer endless capabilities. Canning foods, housing little tea light candles that line a walkway, or serving up the perfect summer cocktail, I never tire of them.
Sometime in the near future I’m going to be using the jars I have around the house for these fun ideas:

Do any of y’all have mason jars somewhere around the house waiting to be used?
What do you use yours for?

The drinks in that first photo looks so refreshing! I love the versatility of a mason jar, but don’t own any myself-I must change that!

Prettiest garden trick – candle in a jar, i love it. And if your having a garden party you can put those anti fly candles in the jar so the guests are not pestered !!

Totally reminds me of living in Texas in my youth…Attempting to catch fireflies, lining walkways with candles…Love how downhome they feel…Gotta bust ’em out again for backyard bbq’ing…Now that I’m in SoCal the theme can be Southern Comfort! Love this post, thanks for the reminder 😀

Hey Ashley! Just left a reply comment on my page but wanted to check out your blog. So glad I did cause you have a follower now 🙂

Hmm…I have about 12 jars in my dishwasher right now and I have used them to bake with. They are awesome because they are like single servings you can freeze or refrigerate. Yum! They are under my DIY. Would love to see you back friend.

I love the jars hanging from the trees. It makes me wish I didn’t live in a new neighborhood without any trees.
