Just around the corner from my apartment is the cutest, quaintest little french restaurant called Gaulart & Maliclet. I’ve passed by the place on a daily basis and finally got a chance to try it out with a good friend for lunch. The place is tiny and constantly packed. I loved that the seats were right by the kitchen and the walls were lined with funky pieces of art. Also known as Fast and French, the little bistro has a great menu selection and equally amazing french pressed coffee. On the chilly fall afternoon we opted for the soup/sandwich combination and some of their homemade tarragon mustard (amazing! we each took a jar home). It was the perfect meal in one of my now favorite Charleston spots.
