I’m a big fan of pretty much anything Kate Spade- the company does no wrong in my book. When I recently purchase this case for my iphone, I had gold polka dots on the mind. After picking up a simple, clear round vase, the next step was adding large gold circles sporadically around the sides. A standard gold paint pen brought the otherwise plain glass vase to life! I did a few coats per circle, giving them a few minutes in-between each coat to try. The vase fits perfectly in the living room and looks even better when filled with pretty flowers from a great friend!

[pretend you don’t see those fingerprints. This was pre-windex]
[Resting in its new home with a fabulous view and an assortment of flowers]
I’m all about the gold paint pen at the moment.Β
Any suggestions for what to use it on next?

I say next stop with the paint pen should be on a pic frame. Maybe try your hand at Chevron.

This is SO fun! I love that it’s so pretty and easy. I love gold-penning things, too, haha. I like writing in script on simple white or pretty vintage dishes.

I ALMOST bought that case, but then I fell in love with my current one. Great minds think alike. πŸ˜‰

Anyway, I love these polka dots. So cute, and it sounds so easy. I’m going to have to go wander around Pinterest a bit and see what else you could make with that magic pen of yours. Can you tell I’m procrastinating?
