I’m always fascinated by new beauty secrets and products that people use. What blows me away is how everyday products (ie: coconut oil) can become the perfect skincare treatments! It’s been a while since I’ve shared my current favorites so here are a few that easily have become part of my daily routine…
Hair
It’s safe to say I have hair that grows at a snail’s pace. I get the scheduled trims and try to avoid heating tools as often as possible, but I still can’t get super long hair.
Enter these helpful little gems.
The L’oreal product goes on at night and I typically put it on my hair from the middle of my head to the roots. Your hair will feel slightly damp for a few minutes but dries quickly and smells great!
My hairstylist recommended taking the Biotin and since starting it have seen a noticeable difference on both my hair and nail growth.
Combined these guys have helped me get my hair strong, shiny and (finally) gaining length! 🙂
 Face
While I can’t vouch for the Clarasonic, since I’ve never owned one, I can say how much I love the Olay Professional version. The exfoliating cleanser in conjunction with the brush makes such a difference on my skin. It removes ten times more makeup than a standard washcloth/soap routine and kicks dead skin out the door while leaving my face soft and dirt-free!
When my urban decay primer (seen here) ran out I decided to mix things up and try something new. What I love about Tarte Cosmetics is their products are free of parabens, phthalates and come in recycled or post-consumer recycled containers. Who says you can’t be eco-friendly and stylish? This primer works great as a base layer on your skin or as I typically use it, as an eyelid primer. It keeps my shadow locked in place all day without a sticky or greasy feeling left behind.
Body
MOR candles have always been personal favorites of mine, but until recently I had no idea they even carried a body care line. The sugar body scrub has become an instant favorite of mine. It’s not greasy and slimy like some scrubs out there and leaves behind the perfect delicate scent.
Fig & Olive hand and body lotion is almost the same way (without the scrub feature). It leaves my skin silky smooth and incredibly soft. I can’t wait to try a few other scents in their line- like the honey nectar and black currant iris to name a few.
Any favorite of yours that I should try?
I’m always looking for new products!

I just recently started taking Biotin myself, and I love the results that I’m seeing!

P.S. In regards to the hair dryer…the reason why I said it was amazing is because: 1) It is lightweight; 2) It cuts drying time down to under 10 minutes; 3) It makes your hair incredibly soft and shiny. Overall, I have never had such fantastic results with a dryer. 🙂

I use biotin as well. I’ve been wanting to try out the Olay cleanser. Everyone raves about it, I really need to get my hands on one already.

I’ve been thinking about a clarasonic or something like your olay pro lately. Does it help rid of blackheads?

I’m loving your post here, fun to hear about new/different products that work great. I used to have an overnight Redkin treatment that I liked but I would like to try this one since it ‘dries’. I want to try the Biotin too!! My fave hair tip is just to not wash everyday- I only wash 2 times a week and my hair isn’t gross- it gets used to it and produces less oil. I have the Clarisonic Mia and LOVE it- best thing ever- but I’m sure what you have does the same exact thing. I love the Urban Decay Eye Primer and also use the Bare Escentuals or Smashbox primer on my face- love both but the new one you found sounds like a good one to try!

I got the Olay ProX for Christmas and I can’t tell if I like it or not. It definitely removes makeup better than a washcloth like you said, but I can’t really tell a difference in my skin. Do you use yours every day or like every other?
