Whole Foods

Given my choice, and unlimited funds, I’d gladly shop for almost everything I need at Whole Foods. Don’t you just feel healthier as soon as you walk in? I do. I could easily spend 30 minutes checking out the skincare products, loading up on fresh fruits and veggies and the rest of the time hanging by the gourmet cheese and wines.

Some of my recent favorites may not be anything new (Pirate’s Booty) but they’re ones that I love all the same.

The Steaz drinks are my new go-to. Since I don’t drink sodas, these are the perfect replacement. They’re all natural green teas with no sugar, no calories and sweetened with stevia. Try the Peach Mango, it’s the jam.

Annie’s products are some of the only boxed mac & cheese I’ll eat (also try this delicious way to add veggies to it). The whole product line gets a stamp of approval though. The gummies are a new little treat for me and the convenient snack packs that they come in are easy to throw in your bag or keep in the car anytime you need sometime sweet.

The two skincare items are both by Acure Organics. I spent some time chatting with an employee over in the skincare department and decided to give these day and night creams a try after she told me how well they work for her. Both smell amazing- the daytime one is energizing and the nighttime is calming. They help brighten and stimulate cell growth to slow aging. Never too early to start, right? 🙂

This past weekend Brian and I seemed to have a serious activity bug. Friday night was spent at The Muny, the outdoor theatre, where we saw Aladdin. We lucked out with perfect weather and the show was great!

We wound down the weekend by visiting the St. Louis Zoo and the Missouri Botanical Garden’s Lantern Festival. It was pretty amazing to see the garden lit up at night and each lantern had the Chinese significance posted next to it. They even had wine/beer available as you walked throughout the grounds- my kind of culture event!

Hope yall had a wonderful weekend and a great start to the week!
It’s hard to believe it’s already mid July!

I have never tried any of the skincare products but Whole Foods has my favorite salsa. Their 365 Roasted Chiptole.

Those top three are usually thrown into my cart also (well maybe not the gummies if I’m trying to cut down on sugar.)

I definitely want to try more of their products though, thank you for the recommendations!

I cannot stop with the Pirate’s Booty. I finally had to stop buying it because I would end up eating almost the entire bag in one sitting. So much for portion control…

Yes, I love our comment about just feeling healthier when you walk in. I spend forever just browsing the skincare…
I loveeee Pirate’s Booty… I can only get the mini bags otherwise I can’t control my portions!
