If you’re looking for an easy chicken recipe for the crockpot that is seriously a-mazing it’s your lucky day. This recipe was originally for chicken tacos but I’ve already planned numerous other meals that this chicken will be in: nachos, salads, sandwiches… the list goes on.
This has no cream of soups involved and takes less than ten minutes to make.
Get ready for a house that smells awesome and perfectly moist chicken.
Crockpot Chicken
ingredients:
4-5 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1 jar of salsa
1 packet of taco seasoning
chicken broth, optional
directions:
Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot. Combine the jar of salsa and taco seasoning in a small bowl and spread over the chicken. Add the optional dash of chicken broth here if you’re using it. It’ll make the chicken even more moist. Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours. When time is finished, use a fork to stir the chicken and break it up so it becomes shredded.
Top with your favorite ingredients and enjoy!

We love doing this. I do it once a week with a lot of chicken so we always have something to eat.
