As I get older what I put on my body is becoming just as important as what I put in it. I’ve been slowly converting to organic and natural skincare lines that I’ll discover in Whole Foods, at Sephora or read about in magazines/blogs. They’ve caused less breakouts, reduced shine and generally made my skin  feel better.
Charleston Naturally is a skincare store in Charleston, SC that I’m bummed I didn’t know about while I was living there. Just north of Marion Square this precious little store is filled to the brim with organic beauty and skincare products. They carry favorites like Dr. Hauschka, Suki and Coola to name a few.
I was delighted to get the opportunity to try some of their products. A collection of mini samples (perfect for when I’m traveling and need something on the go) and a facial wash and toner duo arrived in an adorable linen bag that will double as an organizer for my beach bag this summer.
I’m all about simplifying the beauty routine when I can. At night I hate the getting ready for bed process of washing the face, taking off the makeup, brushing teeth etc.

Dr. Hauschka’s cleansing milk is a two in one makeup remover and cleanser. Bonus: it works great on sensitive skin and is an excellent shaving cream for the men in your life. This is just the thing to carry with me on trips when B forget shaving cream…
Growing up I always used the basic toners that contained alcohol in them (terrible for drying out your skin). Solution? Dr. Hauscka’s facial toner. I loved the way this actually removed any dirt left on my face and prepped it perfectly for my nightly moisturizer.

For the summer months I’ll be getting some of the Coola sunscreen to beat the rays. The best part about the company is their 30 day money back guarantee if you’re not happy with any product that you order send it back.

What better way to branch out and try some new skincare?

xx

Now you’re speaking my language! I think I might get that cleanser, I definitely need one that also takes off my makeup because, I won’t lie, I’m lazy.

I have sensitive skin so I always have to be careful with my skincare selections. But that Cleansing Milk? Sounds perfect – especially for my skin type! 🙂

I really, really need to start taking better care of my skin — these products sound so luxurious and natural, which is a huge bonus!
