This is what a mini weekend getaway to one of my favorite places, Seaside, Florida looks like.
You know those places that lets you completely unwind and just breathe? That’s how I feel about the panhandle of Florida. The water is crystal clear with bathwater temperatures and the homes are all chic and inviting.
Seaside is one of those little beach towns that you’d be fine visiting without a car. Everyone rents bicycles, and most restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance. No heels or fancy outfits needed. It’s about makeup free faces and leaving the hairdryer/curling iron at home and letting the salty breeze dry your hair.
It’s pure bliss in other words.
I practically lived in this comfy J Crew sweatshirt. It’s a perfect layering piece and great for early morning/late afternoon walks when the sun starts going down and it’s not quite summer yet.
Also couldn’t get enough of these ankle jeans (on sale!) and thinking I need to pick them up in all colors. When you find a colored denim that works for your body, pick ’em up!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s weekend filled with love and candy.
I’m looking forward to a low-key celebration with B this week back in St. Louis.
xx

I have never been to seaside but am going for the first time in a couple of weeks. I am so excited. Half of STL goes there for spring break so I am jumping on the bandwagon

That looks like a superb place to go for a weekend. I definitely think you need those jeans in all colors, especially for that price. I love that you can shop the factory online now. Too bad I am on a shopping diet.
