In a large dutch oven heat the ground beef, sausage and onion over medium heat. Once almost completely browned, add in the garlic and let cook for 30 seconds.
Mix in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar and all seasoning. Stir to evenly combine.
Turn heat down to simmer and let cook, un-covered for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally
Remove bay leaf and adjust salt/pepper seasoning to your liking. Enjoy!
