Korean Bowl + Veggies
Ingredients
  • 1/4cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup coconut aminoscan also use soy sauce
  • 2tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4tsp ground ginger
  • 1lb grass fed ground beef
  • 1tbsp refined coconut oilcan also use vegetable oil
  • 3cloves garlicminced
  • 2 green onionsthinly sliced
  • sesame seeds, for topping
  • rice, cooked
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce/coconut aminos, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and ginger. Set aside
  2. In a large skillet, heat the coconut oil and cook the minced garlic over medium heat for 1 minute. Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned
  3. Once cooked, drain the excess fat. Stir the brown sugar/soy sauce mixture into the pan and stir to evenly combine. Simmer for a few minutes on low.
  4. Serve over cooked brown rice and topped with green onions and sesame seeds.

we also add sautéed brussel sprouts (broccoli is delicious too!), sliced thinly.
