Elle Magazine High Heels

Did it feel like the longest week ever to anyone else? I got into Charleston yesterday afternoon and am looking forward to a relaxing weekend with my family. My mom and I are knocking out a few wedding planning tasks and checking out a few cute shops downtown. I never feel like I have enough time here… too many great restaurants and stores to visit. Last night Annie and I met up for a glass of wine and some girl chat at Social Wine Bar. It’s always so fun meeting blogging buds in real life, even though it feels like you already know each other. If you’re thinking about starting a blog, do it. The friendships you make are what makes it all the more fulfilling. End cheesy soapbox.

favorite links from around the web this week…

+ If you need a SuperBowl appetizer, this (skinny) dip is always a crowd pleaser and won’t leave you feeling gross on Monday.

+ After using this eye mask, I’m hooked. It’s a splurge but worth it!

+ What signature song did your state stream most this past week? (Really Georgia? Chris Brown?)

+ If you’re into triathlons you’ll probably be down for “Disneyland for Athletes

Glad you made it in to Charleston! Hope you have fun! That skinny queso dip sounds amazing! And my “state song” was Ed Sheeran. I guess it could be worse! Happy Friday!

Totally agree about the blogging buddies! It has been my favorite part of being a blogger! Enjoy Charleston. It’s been a full year since I have been back and April can’t come soon enough!
