Baby Girl Nursery Decor

Suupppeerr delayed, but I’m finally getting to share Olivia’s nursery space with y’all! Since we’re renting the house we’re currently in, we really wanted to focus on picking pieces that can work once we move to Charleston. The rug was actually the first thing selected for the space. I knew whether it was a boy or girl that this rug meant for our nursery. A neutral color palette with a few small pops of color was what I envisioned. The artwork from Minted is such a playful addition to the room and I love the pretty whitewashed frame that surrounds it. They were wonderful to work with and have such great art + frame options!

To tie in a piece of Charleston and Greenville (Brian’s hometown), we have a painting from one of my favorite Charleston artists, Harrison Blackford, and the smaller one on the side table is from a local Greenville artist. The wall color isn’t what I would’ve picked, but works fine for the time being. In her new room I’m planning on a pale grey and a pretty wood bead chandelier.

As for the dresser, the Ikea Hemnes 3 drawer fit in the space perfectly and I swapped out the standard knobs for some fun brass ones that I actually found at Home Depot! World Market is another one of my favorite stores to check for pretty hardware.
