Baby Girl Nursery Idea / Turquoise and Tealebeaded flushmount / mirror /woven baskets
artwork / white crib / jute cotton pouf / braided rug

We’ve finally started making some progress on our next baby girl’s room and wanted to share my vision for the space! We’re using the same crib from from Olivia’s room (making the transition to a big girl bed for her in the next month or so— eek! Fingers crossed), the glider and dresser. For the rest of the pieces in the room I wanted to do something a little different and make it feel unique for her. We painted the space “faint coral” by Sherwin Williams and it’s a pretty pale pink.

This beaded flushmount was hung a few days ago and I absolutely love it! I’m hanging this rattan mirror either over the crib or over the dresser/changing table. It’s lightweight and beautiful! Harrison Blackford is one of my favorite local artists and one of her pieces would fit in perfectly in the space.

Even though there’s already carpet in the room, I prefer a soft rug on the floor instead. These woven storage baskets are a favorite for so many different spaces, but are great in a nursery for blankets, stuffed animals, dirty laundry or hiding toys. Lastly, poufs are perfect in front of a glider to use as an ottoman (and then work great in a playroom or multiple spots around the house after the nursery!).

xx
