Veer Wagon Review / Turquoise and Teale

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend and was able to sneak some relaxation time in. Whenever I share our Veer wagon on instagram I always get questions on how we like it, how it is on the beach, would I recommend it, etc. I wanted to put together a post to answer all the usual questions and my honest thoughts.

We purchased the veer wagon ourselves (not sponsored or gifted!) almost two years ago and it was our alternative to a double stroller or BOB. I wasn’t sure how much longer Olivia would want to actually sit in a stroller at age 2 and we have the UppaBaby Vista with kickboard which is perfect for times when she does! We’re not daily runners, so we also didn’t feel like a BOB stroller was a must have for us. If you are, then it makes sense for that use! Over time we can use the wagon much longer than a stroller — farmers market trips, outdoor events, trick or treating, beach trips etc.

Like most wagons it still requires some effort to pull on very fine, soft sand, so go into it expecting that. On smooth surfaces or rocky trails it’s not a problem and the wheels easily handle it. What I like about the Veer is that you can either pull the wagon’s handle or lock the handle and push it like a stroller. We typically always pull it, but it’s nice to have the option! The cup holders on the handle are finally good ones unlike most strollers we’ve used. They tilt up to keep the drinks vertical vs leaning with the handle.

For add-on’s we used the infant car seat adapter that worked great with our UppaBaby Mesa. If you’re getting the wagon I also strongly recommend the rear storage basket. Once you have kids in the wagon and the (removable) middle snack tray in, there’s not much storage space. The rear basket we load down with sand toys, a small cooler, our bogg bag, etc.

Other features that I love:

  • easily folds down in seconds!
  • side storage pockets for snacks, toys, etc
  • need to clean it? simply hose it off and set in the sun to dry!
  • lots of accessories to add on for various needs

For our family the wagon has been a great purchase, especially since we spend most of the year outdoors thanks to mild southern winters. Happy to answer any additional specific questions in the comments!

xx

This has totally been on my radar but the price point has made me waffle. My kiddo really hates sitting in a stroller but I think he would totally like this. I really want it for the beach. Thank you for your unbiased/non sponsored opinion on it!

I have used this Veer wagon before and LOVE how easy this was to maneuver – and the lightweight wagon!
Worth every penny for multiple uses….
