Isn’t it ironic how slow weekdays can crawl by, yet how quickly the weekends pass? Luckily I love my job and get to use work as a creative outlet, but relaxation and freedom on the weekends are what I really look forward to.
A weekend at home was just what I needed to recharge and gear up for a productive and successful work week. It was a wonderfully low-key mini vacation and I couldn’t be more blessed with a better family to spend it with. Getting to see my precious black lab, Cooper was a highlight of my trip. Wishing he could be in Charleston with me- he’d love to run on the beach!
My parents set a beautiful table in the backyard full of color and Easter treats for us. Moms just have that way of making even the simplest of things become beautiful, it never fails to impress.
[There was also lots of un-pictured food, including carrot cake- which was insanely delicious.]
Happy Monday! Hope it’s a great one!
