Since the heat is still bearing down on us I’ve found myself longing for cool, crisp fall weather, boots and big comfy scarves and homemade apple pies –all my fall weather essentials. I know it’s only August, but when temperatures reach over 100 F, well, I can’t help but dream up some cooler images.
Anyone else lusting for cooler temperatures and fall traditions?

I always look forward to fall! I love when the leaves change from green to the burnt oranges and reds! I am also ready to go out and shop for a new fall wardrobe!
while i always hate to wish summer away…i was just thinking yesterday how much i love boots and how i can’t wait to wear them with chunky sweaters and such. we still have a good solid month or more of sweltering heat though!
I love fall, but I will miss my summer weather, I’ve worked way too much and haven’t even been able to go to the pool or lay out.

I’m drooling over everything in these pictures! Those brown boots are just fabulous, that muffin looks perfect for a crisp autumn day, and seriously, who doesn’t like apple pie!? (with a little bit of vanilla ice cream perhaps?}
I feel like summer just got started! So I’m not ready quite yet…but layering with sweaters, wearing boots, and comfort dishes and baking does sound pretty fun.

Fall fashion is definitely my fave, BUT I am still enjoying the warm weather here in Tahoe…it doesn’t last very long so I have to soak it all in! 🙂

Me too! In Texas we barely have a fall season at all, but when it’s here I enjoy every minute of it! Come on October/November!!!! And the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin looks divine!

Ugh, YES! I’m so done with summer…these 100+ temps are baking my brain! I’m so lazy when it gets hot, too…but maybe that isn’t exactly the heat (c; I am *SO* looking forward to busting out my boot collection, I can hardly stand the waiting!

Favorite season is fall! Leaves changing, football games, throwing on a chunky sweater, jeans, boots, etc… After a day that was 102, I welcome fall!
