A few years ago we took a family trip to one of my favorite ski towns, Breckenridge, Colorado. It was there that I was reminded of my love for crepes. There was a little stand at the bottom of the ski slopes that sold a-mazing crepes and every time we walked by there was a line wrapped around the corner.Β
During a work trip to Charlotte, NC yesterday I got to try an amazing little restaurant called Crepe Cellar. The menu was amazing and we all ordered something different so we could try a good mix. I went with the spinach, goat cheese, shallots and wild mushroom crepe and it was incredible! Other dishes ordered were the Pesto Chicken Pizza and the special dish of the evening, a seared tuna over lemon risotto.
I loved the exposed brick in the interior and their use of giant mirrors where the daily specials and drink menus were written in bold markers. I’ll definitely be making another visit to this little gem during my upcoming trips to the Queen City…
Looks like I’ll be picking up some crepe mix over the weekend and trying my own creations!
Have a wonderful Thursday!
This is totally my type of place. Looks delicious. I love crepes too. I bought a crepe maker at Williams-Sonoma and it took a bit of practice but they come out really good. I love them w/ Nutella! xo
This looks great. Charlotte has some neat things. I’ve not been there in a long while. I think I need to change that very soon, and try this restaurant, too.

I know exactly which crepe joint you are talking about in Breck! I used to go to school in Colorado and many of our drunken ski weekends were followed by a delicious crepe for the drive back home.
