Happy Monday friends! Today I have one of my good friends Jane, from Polyvorous sharing her beauty essentials for spring and I couldn’t be more excited. To paint a picture for you of how talented this little lady is, during our summers interning in NYC she was my beauty guru. She did my makeup, taught me fabulous beauty tricks and introduced me to some of my favorite products that I now can’t go without.
She’s pretty much a baller (besides being a fellow UGA bulldawg with me!) and the absolutely sweetest person. Checkout her picks and start planning your trip to Sephora…
Turqoise and Teale Spring Beauty Essentials by jane-tipermas featuring a zoya nail polish
Hi everyone! I’d like to thank my dear friend Ashley for letting me guest post on her wonderful blog that I have loved from Day 1 (everything she makes is amazing — I can attest from receiving some awesome care packages!). As she can probably attest, I am a beauty product fiend and will search high and low for the perfect finds, so when she asked me to put together a list of my spring essentials, I jumped at the chance. Here are 6 of my faves:
1) Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray: I live in NYC, so that perfect beachy hair look is something that has to be achieved through product. Just a few sprays on damp or dry hair and some scrunches and twirls helps me feel like I’m a surfer chick.
2) Charlotte Ronson 2 X A Charm Blush and Bronzer: This baby is a no brainer — easy two for one to brighten up your complexion. I love the cream bronzer instead of a powder because it has a more natural finish.
3) Lancome Hypnose Mascara: This is a favorite any time of year! Not to brag, but I get crazy complements on my lashes all thanks to Hypnose. This stuff thickens, lengthens, curls, and makes your lashes look so lush.
4) Living Luminizer by RMS Beauty: This is a new find from the amazing service Birchbox (subscribe now if you aren’t a member!). Created by a makeup artist to supermodels like Giselle and Karolina Kurkova, this creamy luminizer is free of all those nasty ingredients in most cosmetics, and gives you perfect cheekbones in a dab without heavy shimmer. It melts into your skin like butter, so I also love to mix it with my undereye concealer if I’m looking a bit tired, and put some on the bow of my top lip for added glow.
5) Jo Malone Cologne in Vintage Gardenia: If there were ever a spring scent, it is definitely the gardenia — this version is the most beautiful creamy white floral, and great for day or night.
6) Zoya Nail Polish in Avery : While I’ve definitely been whipping out the bright nail polishes lately, this amazing opaque neutral is perfect for any occasion (or even if your eyes are just hurting a little from the neon trend at the moment).
Thanks again to Ash and check out my blog Polyvorous for more tips on beauty and styling!
Love,
Jane
