This past weekend was a wonderfully relaxing one in the midwest. It was such a treat having one of my good friends in town and I’m sad that it’s already over. We conquered some serious ground while Stefanie was in town for her first trip to St. Louis.
We started off Saturday morning with a trip to the farmer’s market in Soulard. I am always amazed at how cheap it is there. The most expensive thing we purchased was probably our bloody mary’s and pomegranate margaritas
delicious!
Next up was a trip to the Anheuser-Bush brewery tour. The tour lasted about an hour and took us through seven blocks of the brewery’s grounds. My favorite part was getting to see the Clydesdales horses and their gorgeous stables. They’re living a life of luxury in there.
We also lucked out with gorgeous weather on Sunday. Fall has definitely taken over the city and leaves are constantly changing and covering the ground. It’s beautiful and the grounds by the Arch were no exception.
One of my favorite parts about STL is Forest Park. I could easily spend the entire day here.
Fall looks mighty good on you St. Louis.
Hope yall had a wonderful weekend!
