Because I’m sure everyone didn’t already eat enough last week and you’re definitely not looking to detox for the next month or anything, I figured I’d go ahead and share a delicious new cookie recipe.
I plan on making these for holiday parties, hostess gifts or bringing to a cookie swap. The large bites of Oreo’s make these cookies and you’ve got a guaranteed crunch in each bite because of all the other goodies inside. Think of these as an updated version of the chocolate chip cookies that are left for Santa Clause. He’d much prefer these anyways.
Triple Fudge Oreo Cookies

ingredients:
1 c. butter flavored shortening
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. chocolate chips
12-15 oreo’s roughly cut into quarters
3/4 c. white chocolate chips
directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease baking sheets with non-stick cooking spray (or line with parchment paper). In a medium bowl, cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla until smooth.
In a separate bowl combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Slowly add to the sugar mixture and beat until combined.
Next hand mix in the chocolate chips, oreo’s and white chocolate chips. Scoop out dough into 2 tablespoon sized balls. Place on baking sheet and flatten with hand. Bake for 8-9 minutes.
