I’ve been antsy for Friday to get here all week.
This weekend I’m heading to Chicago to adventure around the city with a college girlfriend who lives in the windy city. It’s my first time visiting Chicago in the winter and I’m just hoping I don’t look like the abdominal snowman walking the streets as I attempt to keep my southern body warm. It it drops below 50 degrees in Atlanta it’s too cold for me (I know, I’m a total wimp). My scarves, boots, gloves and heavy coat have all been pulled out and ready to be used.
From Chicago I’m finally getting to go back to St. Louis for Thanksgiving week with B. It feels like ages since I’ve had some quality time with the beau and I can’t wait to cook dinner together and unwind after each day with a glass of wine and each other. When it comes to long distance relationships it’s the little things that you miss the most.
Have a wonderful weekend friends!

Have so much fun in Chicago AND St. Louis! I agree about the “little things,” and hope you have lots of time to cherish each and every one. Safe travels! xo

I bet Chicago will be so fun in the winter! One city I definitely would love to visit! Have a great weekend!!
Don’t worry you won’t stick out with your winter attire this weekend – it’s supposed to be super cold on Sunday so stay warm! And I can’t agree with you more about long distance relationships. I finally made the move to his city after 3 years of going back and forth and I remember just little things like grocery shopping together were my favorite π Have a great weekend!
