One of the many positives to living in the south is that it stays warmer longer. The downside to living in the south is that it stays warmer longer. It’ll be at least October before we’re able to wear jackets and scarves, so I’m a believer in wearing white after Labor Day. It’s far too hot and humid to put away the white jeans yet, so I’ll be rocking them at least a few more weeks and then comes winter white. Over the weekend I picked up this lightweight sweater from a local Charleston shop and already can tell I’ll be wearing it non-stop. It’s actually shown as a dress online, but since I’m tall it’d be one heck of a mini dress on me. Layered over a longer slip dress it’d be perfect though!
ii Brunettes sweater, Paige denim, Whipping Post tote, Kendra Scott necklace and earrings, Tai bracelets,
Dolce Vita booties, Ray Ban sunglasses
It’s chilly here and I’m still a fan of white after Labor Day, we just call it ‘winter white’ and it works ;).
Ps. serious boot envy!
I’ve been eyeing some DV booties for a while now – yours are perfect!!! Such a great look!

I absolutely love this look – I’m so glad I’m not the only one who will be rocking winter white! That sweater looks cozy – I adore the way that you half-tucked it.
I bought a “dress” online the other day that DEFINITELY did not convert to a dress to me! I can’t return it unfortunately so its basically a hang out shirt now, ha!
Love the sweater! I’m going to need to pop into II Brunettes! And yeah, more like Dec/Jan before we need jackets! LOL 🙂 It’s crazy.
Love all the neutrals in this look! And of course, my favorite KS necklace, it looks amazing with everything!

I’m dying for it to get cooler here, the hottest days literally came at the end of summer.. so that’s cool. meanwhile, I’m collecting lots of sweaters and boots! I adore this outfit and I’m a big fan of keeping the white a part of my wardrobe even after labor day!

I’m such a fan of white after Labor Day. White jeans and a sweater are adorable in the cooler months. Love those booties too!

Love that sweater! I love neutrals and white after Labor Day!
So glad you showed a way to style white after Labor Day. White has become one of my favorite things to wear in the winter, I think it’s hard to find anything more classic/chic.
Love this look- and your take on keeping white jeans around for a little longer! I tried to put mine away but it’s way too hard to do it when it’s still in the 90’s in Charleston! I love that lightweight sweater too, I may have to recreate this look soon! 🙂
Cute outfit!
I love this look. It’s cozy and perfect for fall. I’m also obsessed with that Kendra Scott necklace. That color is amazing!
