Bump Friendly Dresses I’m Living In This Summer

One thing also being pregnant with Olivia during summer taught me was to find as many bump friendly dresses as you can and build a good collection to rotate between. Besides southern summer heat being brutal in general, finding comfortable and stretchy dresses that you feel good in with a growing bump is key. The above dresses (none are actually maternity!) are ones I’ve been wearing for months and will carry me through the last two months of pregnancy!

9seed: this is the only dress that’s not under $100, but I’ve had it for 6 years and it remains a favorite. It’s actually a coverup, but could easily be a dress that takes you from pool to a casual dinner (add a bandeau bra or sticky boobs). I’ve worn it as both. It’s the perfect, flowy dress for hot weather.

t-shirt dress: you’ve likely seen this one on my instagram and stories. One of my favorite Amazon finds! It’s super soft and looks cute with sandals or white sneakers. It has a relaxed fit and I have it in an xs in the stripe version and light pink color way. This t-shirt dress is another really comfortable option I wear with sneakers!

smocked button dress: love this dress for before, during and after pregnancy. The top is smocked and has plenty of stretch to it,so you can totally get away without a bra. Added bonus for breastfeeding – it buttons down the top! It runs big, so size down. I have the navy and white star print (will be perfect for 4th of July!) and the multi color.

racer back dress: probably the dress I wear the most because it’s so versatile. Works worn casually or dressed up for dinner out. Super comfortable and stretches in all the right places. Tempted to order the olive color as well since I wear the black one so much. I have this one in a size small.

yellow tiered maxi: a really fun, bold option to wear with a summer tan! This one runs big. I have it in a size xs and know it will be so cute after pregnancy too. Bonus— it has pockets!

lindsey and lana flounce dress: Mud Pie is such a great brand to wear during pregnancy since I find the pieces typically run large anyways. For work I always reach for my flounce dresses (size small).

wavy fit and flare: when I shared this dress on Instagram for Easter so many of y’all loved it! It’s another great work or baby shower option. Lots of stretch to it and will be so cute post-baby. I have this in XS.
