Favorite Things from May

HOME:
Vietri bud vase: easily one of my favorite vases in our home! The bud vase is the perfect size for clippings from the yard and comes in a variety of colors, but I adore the white version. They’re the perfect size to display on a table when entertaining, style by the kitchen sink or use in the bathroom for some added greenery. The white bud vase seems to be sold out most places, but it’s in stock here and here.

Hanging basket florals: We have hanging baskets on the front of our house and I filled each one with a mixture of the above flowers for some height, color and texture. Gardening has been such a relaxing activity this year, especially when we were spending so much time at home. flowers: jolt cherry dianthus, ageratum and white knight sweet alyssum

BEAUTY/FASHION:
Freedom Moses sandals: I hadn’t jumped on the Birkenstock trend since they’d come back in style, but ordered these Freedom Moses sandals on a whim and have been wearing them non-stop ever since! They’re the perfect shoe for the beach/pool since they’re waterproof, they’re super comfortable and I love that they look cute with a bathing suit or with a sundress running around town. Plus at only $40 you really can’t beat the price! I wear a size 8 shoe and have size 38/39. additional sizes & colors available here

Lululemon skort & short sleeve top: the perfect duo to wear for tennis/golf, playing outside with your little ones, or running errands. I loveeee this skort and the built in shorts that come with it! Really hoping they come out with new colors of this short sleeve top because it’s one of my favorites! I always wash their pieces on cold and hang-dry and they’ve lasted me years.

Vivian Drew double flower earrings: I can’t get over all the beautiful pieces that Hayley makes! Without a doubt the best bang for your buck jewelry that I’ve come across. Her pieces are well-priced to start with, but they look 5x the price! Cannot recommend the double flower or pearl flower studs enough.

Herbivore emerald: I received this mini bottle in a sample kit and it’s actually the first item I’ve tried from the brand. Ob-sessed! I put the deep moisture glow oil before bed and it truly has my skin glowing the next morning.  If you’re looking for a nighttime oil to try, I highly recommend this one!

LITTLE ONES:

Bella Bliss clothing: there have been so many amazing sales lately and I ordered both of the girls some new pieces for summer. I love these little bloomer sets with open backs for hot weather, a cute ric rac dress, a pima dress that’s perfect for play and a festive red/white/blue dress that’s classic summer style.

toddler nightgowns: finally, cute toddler nightgowns that are super soft, hold up well and are well-priced! We have three nightgowns and they’re Olivia’s favorites to wear. Besides the sweet patterns, they get softer wash after wash. I’ll absolutely re-purchase when she outgrows her current size.

toddler tagless underwear: once you’re little girl has a solid grasp on potty training (don’t waste your money on these in the early days — stick with the inexpensive pairs that you can toss as needed), this tagless underwear is the way to go. They’re a little more than the Disney character set from Target, but the quality is worlds better and these are so much softer.
