It’s that strange week between Christmas and New Year’s Day when you can’t quite remember what day it is and there’s no concept of time. This year I decided to take advantage of the down time before life gets crazy again, and make sure our house was organized and ready to welcome a new year. Thanks to our Walmart+ membership I browsed Walmart’s site and found tons of great organization tools to help with holiday, kitchen and office storage.
Walmart+ benefits we love:
- free delivery from your store with $35 minimum, restrictions apply
- member prices on fuel
- mobile scan and go
- new benefit: Walmart+ free shipping, no order minimum with next day and two-day shipping options on items from walmart.com Excludes oversized/freight & marketplace items
The new free shipping benefit is a huge help when we need things fast (always, right?!) and don’t have to worry about leaving the house. Walmart+ has been such a game-changer, especially during this time of year.
After years of wrapping ornaments in paper (and always finding something that’s inevitably broken the following year) I ordered this large ornament storage bag that took minutes to assemble and holds 128 ornaments. Now instead of multiple plastic containers in the attic we have one easy to carry ornament bag!
While we have a real tree in the family room, we set up a flocked faux tree for the girls’ each year. The 7.5 ft tree storage bag is an easy way to keep all the lights, stand and tree parts together in one bag. Again, much less clutter and keeps it easily protected.
In the kitchen I love an organized pantry and fridge and the above pieces are some of my favorite tools to help get organized.
In the OXO container set I keep our rolled oats, flours, chia seeds, raisins, chocolate chips, etc fresh. Cannot recommend these enough!
For the girls’ I keep pouches in a narrow acrylic container and plenty of healthy snacks in a divided round pantry organizer for easy reach.
We always have sparkling waters within reach and this container is the easiest way to keep all the cans together in the fridge.
