My family and friends will be the first to tell you that I’m a snacker. I like small meals throughout the day and always a mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack. I try to keep our house stocked with lots of fresh and healthy options so that when I’m reaching for a quick bite, it’s something that will leave me feeling satisfied and energized to tackle the rest of the day.
With our busy schedules I like to streamline as much as possible and have been using our Walmart+ membership to get fresh, high quality groceries delivered to our door. It’s such a big time saver for me and I love that they have free same-day delivery from my local store ($35 minimum, restrictions apply). The prices are the same as in-store and there are no hidden fees to worry about!
These are the healthy kitchen staples I like to always have on hand for snacks and easy meals:
- mama chia pouches – great for on the go! I always keep some in my car for the girls
- That’s it bars – love the snack pack size!
- Roots hummus & Avocado Salsa Verde served with fresh veggies
- Off the Eaten path – so good paired with hummus!
- veggie snack packs – for rushed mornings when you need something already prepared and ready to grab
- Purely Elizabeth oatmeal cups – great to stick in the fridge overnight for cold oats or to warm up if you need a quick, on the go option
- un-flavored yogurt – add a drizzle of honey, cinnamon, berries and purely Elizabeth granola
- siete tortillas– anything by this brand I love! The tortillas are great for wraps, quesadillas, breakfast tacos
Our Walmart+ membership has allowed me to easily shop online for healthy and fresh foods for our family and saves time by having it delivered! I’m also a big fan of using the membership before we have guests come in town. It takes me less than 10 minutes to quickly browse Walmart’s site, select the snack foods, breakfast items and beverages we need for guests and then have it delivered later that day.
