the weekly rundown:
reading: I started and finished The Wife Upstairs on our flights to and from Colorado — it really sucked me in! A good thriller that keeps you on your toes. A Flicker in the Dark is next on my list!
listening: for music, ‘Big Energy’ by Latto whenever I need a high energy song. For podcasts I enjoyed Vanity Fair’s chat with Nell Diamond of Hill House Home and Purely Elizabeth’s episode with Sweet Laurel (love her recipes!)
watching: we flew through Reacher on Amazon Prime and highly recommend it!
cooking: I made Ina Garten’s ‘weeknight bolognese’ with ground lamb last week and it was a delicious, easy dinner option. For the Super Bowl we made these cheeseburger sliders that were delicious and made for even better leftovers the next day and dinner for the girls. They were served alongside these air fryer wings that we made in our toaster oven/air fryer (one of my most used kitchen tools!) .
wearing: this turtleneck dress is such a good wardrobe staple that everyone needs. It works for everything from a work day to date night out. I paired with a brown belt and brown boots. I’m majorly obsessed with this new pair of sunglasses and they’re priced so well at $60! The best, slightly thicker short sleeve workout top.
eyeing: these neutral sneakers to pair with everything from sundresses to joggers, this ruffle top + midi skirt ensemble, a lighter wash denim option from my go-to brand
xx
Always looking for a good read, so thank you for this rec!
Yes, Ina Garten’s bolognse is amazing and super easy for those nights you just don’t have a lot of time.
