On a recent instagram poll to kick off 2024, I asked what y’all would like to see more of this year and outfits was the resounding top answer. Over the past two years I’ve become much more thoughtful and stringent on purchase I’m making and items I’m adding to my wardrobe. Quality > quantity.
I like to brainstorm a couple of ways to style an item, especially higher end price points, to make sure the versatility is there. Kilte Collection has been a brand I’ve loved following along and seeing grow over the past year. The “Liz” washable cashmere set is genius and besides being a set someone at 75 years old or 25 years old could wear, it’s an easy go-to for so many occasions — morning drop offs where I need to dash out the door, comfortable travel attire, or paired with ballet flats and a scarf for coffee with girlfriends.
For travel, whether by car or plane, the set offers the comfort I’m looking for, but still lets me feel pulled together. I’d add a sweater over my shoulders incase temperatures drop and a favorite pair of sneakers. Oh! Don’t forget the large tote packed with all the snacks, water bottle and reading materials.
I also love that both pieces are easy to style separately as well! I’ll toss the top on with jeans and ballet flats/loafers, and the pants paired with a simple long sleeve t-shirt or relaxed fitting sweater.
The “Elizabeth” set is the long sleeved version and perfect for colder months too!
