I always love looking back on the previous year and putting together my favorite things post. There were plenty that didn’t make the image above, but still remain a favorite (like this top!!), but I tried to narrow it down the best I could. From home, to beauty, to the small businesses that I loved discovering in 2024, these are the superstar items that secured the top spots. A few of these brands were kind enough to put together special discount codes for my readers, which I’ve included below.
“The Best Hat” : truly! Perfect size brim, sturdy construction and a great price point
Material Cutting Boards & Knives: I’m slowly switching all knives over to this brand. They are sleek and sharp and make such a difference. Pair it with their “grippy” cutting boards and you’ll be looking forward to meal prep time! I’m obsessed. GREENWELLMATERIAL for 20% off
Proper Table placemats: not a day goes by that we don’t use these for at least one of our meals. They’re a game changer with kids and make clean up a breeze.
Dorsey link bracelet: Brian gave me this for my birthday and I wear it constantly! It’s a perfect layering piece with my simple gold bangle and a timeless jewelry piece.
Tutto sweater: the cotton sweaters (a Charleston company!) I’ve been reaching for weekly. They’re cropped at just the right length, come in fun color combinations and under $200. I have the Burgundy blush and red/white and already contemplating a third.
A. Soliani flats: I’m a loyal ballet flats kind of girl and these were one of my most worn pairs. As comfortable as my Chanel ballerinas, but at a much better price point!
Current Body Series 2 mask: If I had to pick only 3 items, this would be one of them. I knew I likely wouldn’t keep up with any beauty tools that required 20 mins+, so I love that this only takes 10 minutes. I’ve noticed more even skin tone, increased brightness and opting to forgo makeup most days. It’s not inexpensive, but 1000% worth it. ASHLEYGR for 10% off
Adidas gazelles: a happy and colorful pair of shoes that were comfortable from day one. I sized down 1/2 size and they’re a perfect fit!
Loewe mini bag in dark khaki green: this was a special purchase while in Barcelona last summer and it’s proven to be a great size for just the essentials — my phone, keys and a card case. I love how understated their bags are and the leather is beautiful.
Dorsey clemence necklace in 16inches: the type of necklace you could leave on and easily layers with everything else. One that I wear almost daily!
Mirth Barcelona dress: the mini dress that carried me throughout summer travels and beating the low country heat in style. From the scallop detailing to the fun back, this was a dress I constantly reached for and always felt good in.
Paravel luggage: their checked luggage, weekender and duffle are the travel items worth investing in. I can pack so much in each of these 3 bags and the quality is fantastic.
Lunya washable silk set: if you’re a hot sleeper, these are the pajamas for you! They’re great year round, but the short set I lived in during our warm months. They’re weightless on and I just hang to dry. Ashley-15 for 15% off
La Ligne Colby pant: the elevated, non-denim pants that I’ve been on the hunt for!! At 5’9 these are long enough for a small heel (but also work with sandals!) and are a go-to for work, church or even causal weekend style with an oversized sweater and my Adidas.
Abby Alley mini crochet bag: the perfect summer bag — great texture & size, lightweight and love that it packs flat for easy travel! AG15 for 15% off
Julia Amory Betty dress: it was so hard to pick a JA favorite! It’s truly a brand that I can count on for work staples, events or sophisticated everyday staples. This dress is structured and instantly make you feel put together. It’s the type of dress that you’ll get stopped about anytime you wear, and from women of all ages. ASHLEY-15 for 15% off sitewide
