Like almost everyone around the country, my week started out with an arctic blast. Crazy snowstorms pushed B’s flight back from Saturday morning until Tuesday morning. The best thing to come from the weather was a few extra days holed up with the fiancé (still getting used to that!). I was thinking of those of you in Chicago and the midwest that had below zero temperatures. Hope you were warm and cozy! I’m now ending the week back in Charleston where it’ll be in the 70’s. You have to love the inconsistent weather in the southeast….
My mom and I are meeting with a couple of wedding planners today and tomorrow and hoping to narrow it down to one. This week we also confirmed the date in April 2015 for the wedding and to say I’m excited is a huge understatement. Thank you to each of you that commented, emailed and texted me messages of congrats and helpful wedding tips. I wish I could give you all a huge hug and a piece of the giant smile that hasn’t left my face once. Whether you’re still surrounded by snow this weekend or heading out to soak up some sunshine, I hope it’s filled with lots of love, happiness and good coffee.

AH! Have so much fun wedding planning. I know it can be stressful, but my mom and I both look back on it as such a special time together. It really is the best, and remember that at the end of the day you will get to marry your love – then the details just fall away 🙂 xo
