You know those places you’ve visited, but they were so much more beautiful than any pictures would do justice? That’s how Brian and I felt about Antigua. We jetted off Sunday after the wedding to a week in paradise at Hermitage Bay. Our little hillside villa #33 was perfectly situated up on the hill and gave us a perfect view of each bay. The best way to describe our time there is pure bliss. The staff consistently went above and beyond, the daily menu was delicious and let us try so many local ingredients and the interiors of the resort are beautiful.

[There was one outdoor shower and this fabulous bath tub. A perfect sunset could be seen from that soaking tub!]
[A golf cart would drive you to and from the resort, but we opted to take the walk each morning and afternoon. bag c/o/coverup c/o/swimsuit/hat/ shoes]
[A day spent snorkeling around the islands with Creole Cruises.]
[Pre-dinner dips with a mojito in hand]

Wow – if these pictures aren’t doing the resort justice, I can only imagine what it was like in person! I’ve never been to Antigua before, but I’m for sure adding to my travel bucket list!! What a perfect honeymoon – that huge soaking tub looks like perfection and I love that you had your own villa that included a pool! How on earth did you ever leave?!
