Finding new beauty products is a guilty pleasure of mine. It’s typically the last minute thing that I toss in the shopping cart at Target or Sephora that become my favorites. I’ve been testing out sulfate free shampoos to find one that I like and this Aveeno one has topped my list lately. Why go sulfate free? This article does a great job of explaining the benefits and options in the market. I’m not that girl that can days without washing her hair and you’ll never know ( I swear it’s a brunette luxury, not blondes). This shampoo doesn’t leave my hair greasy and with a little dry shampoo (personal fave) I’m ready to tackle the next day without having to suds up.
As someone whose hair grows at a snail’s pace, I think overnight serums make all the difference. This one smells great, is quickly absorbed and helps seals the ends to prevent split ends.
Once a week, typically on Sunday nights, I do a face mask before bed. I’ll alternate weekly between this Murad one and this Origins one. Both are great at preventing breakouts or reversing any that have popped up. As a frequent traveler I can always tell when I skip weeks and my skin starts looks dull and blemishes pop up. The Murad one is a game changer, I promise.
Korres is one of the best natural skincare lines that I’ve found. A sales associate at Sephora recommended the pomegranate day moisturizer and as soon as my other night cream ran out I turned to Korres for a new option. Both of these moisturizers are great for combination skin and won’t leave you feeling greasy. A pindrop size will go a long way and the jars last months.
What beauty favorites have yall found lately?
I LOVE products!!! I will have to try these out ASAP! I received a Murad face scrub in my society sample box and love love love it!
I really want to try that Pantene overnight cream! I use a lot of their products (mainly their shampoo & conditioner) and love them!
Ill have to try the face mask!
I use Proactiv+ for my face because I am acne prone unfortunately and it has done wonders!! I also love Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Serum for night time (makes your face feel so soft and smooth) and Philosphy Miracle with SPF 50 for the day! It’s light enough to wear every day under makeup and it doesn’t get greasy!
Oo that Pantene overnight serum sounds really interesting! Lately I’m obsessed with Oribe’s cote d’azure hair refresher – it’s amazing at making hair smell so fresh between washes!
I”ve never tried a mask before but my skin has been feeling pretty dull lately so I’m thinking of trying one! Thanks for the recommendation! Thinking I may try the Murad one 🙂

My faves for hair: living proof full shampoo (it’s sulfate free too, but pricey!) & blow pro dry shampoo. For Skin: Kiehl’s Panthenol Cream (so good for really dry skin!)
I may have to try Aveeno Shampoo!! It’s so weird, when you do a ton of research on a product it never lives up to its expectations, but when you randomly pick something out, it usually so good!
My hair grows so slowly, too. I never thought about trying an overnight serum though; that’s brilliant!

I use that Aveno shampoo! Honestly, I’ve started to use only sulfate-free shampoos, and I can definitely tell the difference!
My hair grows SLOWER than a snail’s pace. I’m totally picking up some of that overnight serum tonight! Oh and shampoo. I’m a sucker for trying new shampoos/conditoners!

I am IN LOVE with Alterna’s Caviar line! It has really helped my damage hair and even friends who have not seen me in a while could tell the difference. Murad is also another favorite, I love their masks!!
I LOVE Aveno!!
