This past weekend I decided to pack a quick bag, load up Oliver’s zillion belongings and head to Charleston since Brian was working! The weather was beautiful on Saturday so my mom and I headed out to Sullivan’s Island for lunch and downtown for a coffee. If you come to Charleston, stop by Black Tap Coffee and get the lavender latte. It’s one of my favorites and SO good! This hi-low top was perfect to throw on with the most comfortable espadrilles (get them!).

Nothing like going home to be with your parents !!!! I still love going home and being just the daughter all over again, even though I have 2 daughters myself……I’m still a daughter. It’s not always easy to make those trips alone but so special for all.
