Happy weekend – 3 day for some of you lucky ones! I decided last night to head to Charleston for an impromptu trip since B is stuck working all weekend. Oliver and I are over-packed (per the norm) and excited to spend the next few days back home in the low country. It’s restaurant week over there and I’m excited to try some new spots that recently opened up!

favorite links:

+ Fixer Upper is one of my favorite shows and their recent project blew me away. Can I go ahead and move in please?

sales + deals:
+ Bloomingdales is killing in with the extra 20% off their already marked down prices with code ’take20′! I snagged this great pair of jeans and this floral dress is an absolute steal.

+ Gigi New York ’s annual insider sale is packed with goodies! I just got this clutch for Christmas and the color is beautiful — one you’ll wear with everything. The sale is only accessible through this link until the sale goes live on their normal site next week!

+ Tuckernuck is also doing an extra 20% off their sale with code ‘flash20’. This silk blouse is a great year round option and this pineapple dress is a great pre-spring purchase.

+ Nordstrom always has great sales including these cozy boots that rarely go on sale and the tunic I always reach for (at just $25!).

Q & A:

What’s the recipe for the chocolate pb&j smoothie you shared on snapchat?
So so good! Blend together 1 cup almond milk, 1/2- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1/2 cup red frozen berries, 1/2 cup spinach, 1 tbsp almond butter.

I’m looking for a new book. What’re you reading?
I just finished The Luckiest Girl Alive (suspenseful read!) and am a few chapters into Someday, Someday Maybe.

xx

Those Bloomingdales sales always get me too! I bought “The Luckiest Girl Alive” a couple months ago and still haven’t gotten around to reading it! Glad to hear it’s a good one!

I have three of those Lush tunics haha. I couldn’t resist that they were $25 dollars, and I had a Nordstrom gift card. I watched that Fixer Upper last night and it blew me away too. I mean they did an incredible job. I hope that you have a fabulous weekend in Charleston too. 🙂

I didn’t even think about all of the good sales that would be going on thanks to the holiday weekend. Have fun in Charleston!

So glad you get to have a weekend at home! Fixer Upper can do no wrong, and thanks for sharing that smoothie recipe! I’ll be curious to hear what you think about those books – I wasn’t too into Luckiest Girl Alive, and Someday, Someday Maybe was a struggle since it was a bit slow/boring … BUT, I hope you have better luck than me. 🙂 Happy Friday!

Love that tunic! I am going to snag it in a few more colors I think 🙂 Enjoy Charleston – I am so jealous that you are escaping this gloomy weather in Atlanta.

Can’t wait to see what new restaurants you explore. I am adding someday, someday, maybe to my list. I’m currently reading the hypnotist’s love story by liane moriarty. It’s about as bizarre as it sounds, but I’m eager to see how it plays out.

I will have to add The Luckiest Girl Alive to my “to read” list. My reccomendations: Calling Me Home, The Kitchen House, and The Night Circus.
