I recently stumbled across the insanely talented jewelry designer Hyla DeWitt. Finding out that she was a Charleston native only earned her more gold stars in my book. Her pieces are the kind that start conversations with perfect strangers because they noticed your accessories and simply have to know more. I’d wear any of these with a cocktail dress for special occasions, or paired down with skinnies and a simple shirt for running around town. Statement pieces that can be dressed up or down are the ones that I’m drawn to. Why save the fun pieces for only special events?
Anyone else have a weakness for good statement necklaces?

Hyla is crazy talented and comes out with all new designs each season. Furbish just hosted a pop-up shop featuring Hyla’s jewelry. I purchased the “x studs” and have a necklace that will take any outfit to the next level.
