It seems whenever I pack for Charleston in the early months of the year I never seem to have what I need. Case in point, all of last week brought rain and chilly temperatures without my rainboots or sweaters nearby. However, this past weekend we lucked out with gorgeous summer weather and I pulled out this clutch from 1000 Shillings and paired it with this insanely comfortable dress from Teal (love the boutique name, of course). The neatest feature to the clutch is that it was actually made by a lady named Sarah in Uganda. 1000 Shillings sells handmade products by Uganda women and each purchase helps them become independent business women and supports their family.
