betches love this

Like most of y’all, I’m a big reader. I try to at least read 1-2 books per month, but sometimes I can’t find a good new read, the library doesn’t have anything available or I just don’t have the time like I wish I did. All of this has changed since my girl Christina introduced me to Oyster. The best way to describe it is Netflix for books. For $10 a month you can download and read any books from their database. It’s great for when your traveling and don’t want to lug around a few books or if you finish one and need another to start. You can find your friends on the app and see what they’re reading, which is always great when you’re looking for recommendations. It takes seconds to download a book and you’re ready to go!

I just started reading the above, Nice is Just a Place In France and can’t stop laughing. If you liked White Girl Problems or Chelsea Handler books this one is for you. Since I can’t read just one book at a time, I’m also reading Onward the story on Starbucks coffee. A great balance of comedy and intellectual, no?

If any of y’all join look for me so we can be friends and share reading recs!

I’ll have to check this out. Amazon just started doing unlimited books for $10/month too. I love the concept, because like you, I try to read a lot. Sometimes, I just find I don’t have the time!

Will check out this read though! I haven’t heard of it and I am always on the hunt for a new book.

I saw you reading that book on Instagram and had to check it out. Oyster sounds very interesting, especially for those of us that spend a lot on books!

This is seriously such a good idea! We abuse our Netflix so much that I need to start making time for actual books, ha!
